We’ve rounded up some of our favourite happenings below so you can celebrate however you like—whether you’re into quiet reflection, high-energy parties, or historic moments that changed everything.

June 2, 5 p.m. | Nathan Phillips Square
The City of Toronto raises the Pride flag and kicks off the month with speeches, performances, and community vibes at their finest. Expect Mayor Olivia Chow, the Tempo Choir, DJ Blackcat, and a brass band named Trash Panda. (We don’t make the rules, we just love the names.)
June 27–29 | Church-Wellesley Village + Nathan Phillips Square
The opening weekend is stacked with stars:
June 27 – Pride Toronto’s Opening Night (Rebecca Black, Kiesza, Priyanka & more)
June 28 – Drag Ball (Over 70 performers, all queens, no skips)
June 29 – Closing Night Party (Think: disco bangers, outdoor dance floor, warm summer air)

Gay History Walks (June 6, 12 & 20)
Departing from Allan Gardens, this 45-minute tour is a crash course in Toronto’s queer past—Oscar Wilde included.
St. Lawrence Market Street Pride (June 22)
Tynomi Banks, DJs, great food, and a reason to head just five minutes east of the hotel. Easy win.
Church Street Pride Fair (June 27–29)
200+ vendors, live music, and the kind of buzz you don’t want to miss. Just hop on the 501 streetcar or take a sunny stroll.
Hanlan’s Point Beach (Open Daily)
Yes, Toronto has a queer beach. And yes, it has a 600-metre rainbow pathway. Just say when, and we’ll point you to the ferry.
Green Space Festival (June 25–29)
Outdoor parties, world-class DJs, and a very good cause—The 519, Canada’s largest 2SLGBTQ+ community centre.
Outdoor Movie Nights at Fort York (June 12–17)
Screenings of Romeo + Juliet, Clueless, and more, all under the stars and just a 20-minute walk from the hotel.
